The All-Mother, sometimes named Ecematare, is an extremely powerful immortal being who created the Cocoon by shaping a small parcel of the formless Dream into an orderly world. She is the architect of the Grand Design, creating the Rau'n to ensure that everything functions according to Her master plan. She is referred to as female, and Eos, the Rau'n of Creation, is considered Her consort. While She has many worshippers throughout the world, the Mother has long distanced herself from its affairs since the Sundered Morning.
